Incumbent Bidding

As the incumbent, you hold a unique position when tendering and this should be used to maximum advantage.

You must use the ‘inside’ knowledge you have gained to add value to your proposal, perhaps by offering services that may not be obvious to outsiders. Be aware however, that the client knows all your faults and weaknesses. You have to reassure them that these will improve on the new contract.
