1st or 3rd Person Grammar in Your Proposals

Writing in the first person (I, we, or us) implies a relationship with the buyer. It is professional, friendly and means objectives sound sincere.

Contrast: “This will allow us to help you meet your timescales”
With: “This will allow Rothera Group to help Acme Company meet its timescales”

Although the formal third person language was traditionally used for proposals, good practice now shows that first person is preferable.
