Whether you are experienced in bidding or just starting out, this lunch and learn session will give you invaluable insights into improving your chances of creating a winning document.
Anne Farr of Rothera Group will lead you through you the essentials to help ensure your next proposal or tender is successful. She will share insights gained from over 10 years’ experience in training many of the country’s largest companies and working on countless live bids.
You will learn about:
- Creating an efficient bid production process
- Organising and prioritising the information according to client’s requirements
- Formatting the document to make it an enjoyable read
- Producing a winning document
Originally qualified as an engineer, Anne has a pragmatic approach to proposal writing so you will gain practical techniques to make your life easier. You will find out how to justify higher pricing, and ensure your tender is better than your competitors’.
Rebecca Sales of Advenio will describe key points to consider in your sales plan so that you don’t get overlooked for bid opportunities. She will also explain some of the requirements of international bidding such as bonds and guarantees.
Rebecca is qualified in International Trade and brings hands-on experience from business development and strategic marketing within the energy sector, as well as an economic development background in the local Aberdeen area.
Anne’s and Rebecca’s knowledge and experience will be freely available to you during this session, so come with examples and questions to ensure you make best use of your valuable time.
