Time Management When Writing a Bid

Time is always precious when you are writing a bid. It is very easy to lose time in the early stages which means the later stages are rushed.

The first two tasks (analysing the opportunity and the bid/no bid decision) should take no more than 5-10% of the total time available.
If you address these stages efficiently, you will have more time to plan, write and review the bid. This means most time is spent on the areas of the bid which the customer sees.
