Scoring Mechanisms for Your Tenders

It is usual for a reader to award marks to each question or section in a tender. The scores are then weighted and combined to give an overall evaluation of a tender submission.

If there are 5 marks available, you should assume that a fully compliant response will only gain you 2 or 3 marks.
Above-average scores are awarded to responses which demonstrate benefits of additional value to the reader.

Typical examples of these may be innovation, best value, safety awareness or risk mitigation.
