Generic Text in Your Bid Proposals

If you rely heavily on generic text when writing a proposal you are likely to be seen as lazy or lacking customer focus.

Every response should be written for your potential customer, and be about that customer’s situation. Their requirements may be similar to someone else’s but you must make them believe they have your full attention. You can use standard text in a proposal but it should be tailored to show that you have thought through the project.
